The third and final (at least for now…) in a triad of original @JeffaCubed Music + Story + Video (MSV) productions that I’ve made exclusively using a NokiaN8 smart-device. This original song “Second Stream” was written in-part in memory of some of the folks that I’ve known who have passed away over the past few years, & in-part as a metaphor for second (or third, fourth, etc…) active attempts to lead ones life in way that resonates with themselves + with the greater world/folks around them. Again, the audio track is captured in x1 pass via a mini-USB cable connecting the NokiaN8 to my BlueMicrophones snowball mic. Audio + images + video are mixed & edited using the built-in video-storyboard-editing app on the NokiaN8. Thx again to @Nokia_Connects, for putting this device into my creative & capable hands for a few weeks of intensive + extensive testing.

Here are the lyrics for “Second Stream”

Your seconds drift by just like leaves on a stream
I paddled way out to where you used to be
My light’s not afraid of your dark

You’re just a spark, merely an ember
Yet you shine brightly, if just for a while

Nowhere does it say this is how it should be
Reflected through you & refracted by me
The light it approaches the dark

Second stream becomes the ocean,
When does the ocean turn to the sea?

Your seconds drift by just like leaves on a stream
I paddled way out where the monsters would be
My light it approaches your dark

You’re just a spark, merely an ember
Yet you shine brightly, if just for a while
Second stream becomes the ocean,
When does the ocean turn to the sea?
